Schools Open Day was a fabulous fun day
Monday - June 5, 2017
We loved welcoming so many new faces to the club. Seeing so many people pick up a ball and a racket (many for the first time) and having fun is what tennis is all about. The Schools Open Day was part of a Suffolk wide initiative to introduce tennis to children who haven't had the chance to play before. Coach Emily went into local primary schools in the preceeding week to deliver half hour taster sessions. All the children were then invited to the free open day at the club. It was fabulous to see the enthusiasm, the buzz and the smiling faces. We're delighted that some of the visitors now want to take part in coaching and learn more about playing the game. If you had a go but would like another try, then come along to our Great British Tennis Weekend Open Day on 2 July when there'll be more free fun activities for both children and adults. Everyone is welcome - members and non-members alike. Ane why not bring a friend?
